1. Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee) GRADE S-3* – 280 Posts (GEN-141, SC-64, ST-14, OBC-61, PWD-08, Ex Servicemen-28)
2. Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee) GRADE S-1* – 194 Posts (GEN-99, SC-44, ST-09, OBC-42, PWD-05, Ex Servicemen-19)
3. Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee) (Crane Operation) GRADE S-1* – 20 Posts (GEN-11, SC-04, ST-1, OBC-04, PWD-01, Ex Servicemen-02)
4. Operator-cum-Technician (BO) GRADE S-3 – 13 Posts (GEN-06, SC-02, ST-01, OBC-04, PWD-01, Ex Servicemen-01)

Consolidated Pay (Per Month) during Training Period:

Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee):

First Year: Rs.8,250/-

Second Year: Rs.9,350/-

Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee):

First Year: Rs.6,600/-

Second Year: Rs.7,700/-
Pay Scale after Training Period:


Operator-cum-Technician Grade: S-3: Rs.9,160/- -3%- Rs.13,150/-

Attendant-cum-Technician Grade: S-1: Rs.8,630/- – 3%- Rs.12,080/-

Operator-cum-Technician (Boiler Operation) Grade: S-3: Rs.9,160/- -3%- Rs.13,150/-
Qualifications:

For Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee): 3 years full time Diploma in engineering in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Metallurgy/ Chemical/ Ceramics/ Civil, and Instrumentation discipline from Govt. Recognised Institution.
For Attendant-cum-Technician(Trainee): Matriculation and ITI in Fitter/ Welder/ Electrician/ Air conditioning /Refrigeration/ Electronics & Communication/ /Draughtsman/Machinist/Turner trades from Govt. Recognised Institution.

For Attendant-cum-Technician(Trainee) (Crane operation): Matriculation and ITI from Govt. Recognised Institution. Desirable: Experience of minimum one year in Operation of EOT cranes of more than or equal to 100 Tonnes capacity.
For Operator-cum-Technician (Boiler Operation): Diploma in Engg. from Govt. / Recognised Institution with 2nd Class or 1st Class Certificate of Boiler Competency.

Maximum age for Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee), Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee) and Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee) (Crane operation): 28 Years as on 1st May 2012

Maximum age for Operator-cum-Technician (Boiler Operation): 30 Years as on 1st May 2012
