Description
Samsung Electronics Global Developer Challenge, the #1 event for 2012, welcomes entries from all international developers. This contest offers $4.08 million in cash prizes and mega marketing support for app promotion to the top 80 apps including 60 Samsung Apps Super Apps and 20 Best S Pen Apps featuring the most creative GALAXY Note Stylus Pen (S Pen) functions.

Prizes:

A total of $4.08 million cash prizes and tremendous marketing support to the winners!
The most downloaded ‘Top 60 Samsung Apps’, the popular GALAXY Tab & Note apps chosen by consumers for 2012, and
The ‘Best of the Best 20 Apps’ using this year’s hottest GALAXY Note stylus pen (S Pen) functionality will be selected.

Preconditions: For fast, accurate identification, follow these steps when registering your entry with Samsung Apps Seller Office!

1. 'Add New Application' > 'Tag' > 'Other Tags', please ENTER 'SSAC', 'Samsung Smart App Challenge'
2. 'Add New Application' > 'Certification' > 'Please enter comments to the Certification Team'
> Please ENTER 'Entry for Samsung Smart App Challenge'

* Follow these guidelines for accurate identification, quick certification, and promotional support.

Only the applications on sale at Samsung Apps during the app submission period (May 7 ~ Sep 30,2012) are eligible for entry to the challenge.
Applications already on sale within the target device group are not eligible for the contest, Identical app re-registered with Samsung Apps will be rejected for certification. (Ex: simple change of name and package name for the same app)
Entry and award in two tracks (Samsung Apps Super Apps & Best S Pen Apps) are possible in the case of S Pen App.
Accept multiple apps entries.
Themes & Widgets are NOT included in this challenge.

How to enter you Apps:
1. Register for the challenge:

Register for the Challenge using the Samsung Apps Seller Office ID here. If you don’t have a Seller ID, create one at http://seller.samsungapps.com

2. Register your app to Samsung Apps Seller Office for certification.

Please check the first two points under preconditions.
